Stephen Marx, Ph.D.
Founder and CEO
Dr. Stephen G. Marx, Founder & CEO Stephen Marx received a Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of Texas. Dr. Marx has over a decade of experience in research, including a post-doctoral fellowship at the Hebrew University. There he conducted research focused on cancer and transplantation. Dr. Marx has 6 publications to his name and has delivered over 30 presentations at national conferences. He has received multiple research grants from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH), Hebrew University, and others.
Dr. Ariel Orbach
CTO
Dr. Ariel Orbach has been a part of Marx Biotechnology since its founding, as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Prior to joining Marx Bio, he played a key role in R&D at Silenseed, a biotechnology company which is developing cancer therapies based on siRNA and combined with an innovative drug delivery method. Dr. Orbach has deep experience in running clinical trials and has led projects from the level of basic research all the way to the FDA approval process. Dr. Orbach originally received a Ph.D. in immunology from the Hebrew University. He conducted research on the role of fusion proteins in immuno-suppression, which went on to testing for clinical use.
Yehoshua Levin-Landau
Senior Business Advisor
Yehoshua Levin-Landau has been a practicing corporate commercial attorney for fifteen years. He has a broad based science background, and has counseled corporations in both legal and corporate finance aspects for thirty years. In addition, he has advised start-up corporations with marketing strategies and funding.
Michael Horesh
Finance
Michael dedicates himself to business coaching and consultancy. Michael’s activities have included co-founding the Jerusalem Business Networking Forum (JBNF) which has created numerous jobs, promoted countless new services, and helped to secure millions in investment funding for local businesses. He has seen the launch of many new enterprises and taken several Israeli high-tech companies overseas. He is an active member of the board of the Israel-Britain Chamber of Commerce, and he serves on the audit committee of two national charities.
Maxime Stevens
Maxime Stevens has more than 25 years of experience in executive leadership and has impacted long-term growth, operational excellence, and expansion of new geographic and channel opportunities for some of the major companies in the industry. Maxime had run Operations in Southern Africa for the WHO (World Health Organization) for seven years, developing medical programs, charities and NGOs across several countries. She then returned to the UK, moving into clinical research and advancing from International Head of Business Development to the CEO of a global CRO. In addition to building, restructuring and growing sales and operational teams, she has been instrumental in managing M&As and crisis management as well. She received the WHO award for Outstanding Contribution to Ethics in Business and Humanity and was an Honored Member of the International WHO’s WHO of Professionals in both 2013 and 2014.
Meir S. Silver, Ph.D.
Dr. Silver has a proven track record in global life sciences businesses and developing innovative products and services. He has over twenty years’ experience in the medical device, and pharmaceutical industries, including clinical and pre-clinical imaging for therapeutic indications. He has held executive positions managing R&D, clinical research and operations, sales, marketing, service, and regulatory submissions.
Dr.Silver’s experience in leadership positions in medical device and pharmaceuticals, puts him in the unique position to understand market and business operations from functional and technical perspectives. In addition, his experience working in large corporations and small and medium sized companies at different developmental stages lends an exceptional understanding of different business facets and situations. Dr. Silver has over forty peer-reviewed publications and presentations.

Prof. Ella Naparstek, MD
Prof. Naparstek completed her training in Medicine and Hematology at Hadassah University Hospital, Jerusalem. For over two decades, she has been involved with the area of Hematology. In 2001 she became the Chairman of the Hematology Institute and the Head of the Department of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center.
Richard L.”Dick” Teters, Jr.
Colonel, US Army Retired
Col Dick Teters retired in 1998, after 30 years active duty in the US Army, where he excelled in introducing new technologies. Today, he is the Executive Director of The Center for Accountable Leaders at the Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University.
Dr. Major General Elder Granger
Dr Granger received the Distinguished Alumnus University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2008. He served in the US army for over three decades, both at domestic and overseas postings. He specialized in serving in medical units in Hematology and Oncology. Dr Granger has authored numerous number of publications and presentations.
